In my own self-coaching, one of my biggest breakthroughs has been my ability to create self-confidence. Back in the day, I believed that the only way to feel confident was by having done something enough times that I didn't feel nervous anymore. Logically, the more I did something successfully, the more confidence I'd have. However, I learned that there's a big difference between confidence and self-confidence. I can choose to feel self-confident doing things I have never done before. Self-confidence is really about trusting myself to do what I say I'm going to do, my ability to feel any emotion, and to have my own back no matter what the outcome!
